ATH launches rain management project

Project aims to assess water levels within the hospital's vicinity, establish a robust rainwater drainage system

ABBOTTABAD:

Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) has launched a comprehensive topographic survey and rain management project to fortify its infrastructure and improve hospital security.

The initiative was formally introduced on Wednesday, with the ATH Medical Director, Dr Ashfaq Ahmed, receiving a detailed briefing from Ameen Allah Gandapur, Head of the Maintenance Department, regarding the topographic survey.

The primary objective of the project was to assess water levels within the hospital's vicinity and establish a robust rainwater drainage system. The topographic survey, led by expert engineers and surveyors, will identify areas prone to water accumulation during rainfall and enable the team to devise strategic solutions for rainwater management.

Head of the Maintenance Department, Gandapur while speaking about the initiative, highlighted its significance, saying, "This project aligns with our relentless pursuit of enhancing Ayub Teaching Hospital's foundational framework.

Recognizing the urgency of water management, the topographic survey will provide us with invaluable insights to further improve our already well-devised mechanism for efficient rainwater management."
