KARACHI:

The doors of all public and private schools have swung open once again across Sindh, including Karachi, signaling the end of a two-month summer break.

On Tuesday, students returned to the familiar halls of learning, marking the start of a new academic year.

The school premises were abuzz with a mix of emotions as pupils, accompanied by their parents, made their way to their classrooms.

Laughter and tears mingled with a hint of sleepiness, indicating the joyous yet somewhat reluctant start to the new term.

The morning traffic flowed as usual with the reopening of educational institutions, although initial attendance remained subdued in many schools.

After a prolonged summer vacation, the students embraced the school environment with enthusiasm and zeal.

Young pupils enthusiastically shared tales of their vacation adventures, recounting visits to amusement parks, cherished family moments, and even completing their assigned homework.

Now that the school bells have chimed once more, their determination to focus on academic pursuits shines through.

After the long break, it was the camaraderie and positive spirit that enlivened the day.

The teachers thoughtfully designed a range of engaging activities for the children, aiming to ease the transition back to learning.

However, it’s noteworthy that despite the government’s schedule, several schools remained shuttered on this day.

The fresh academic year brought with it both enthusiasm and challenges.

Teachers reported a temporary dip in attendance due to the early start of classes.

They offered advice to the absent students, urging them to promptly make up for any missed sessions.

To ensure a seamless connection, students were provided with their new schedules via email and WhatsApp.

With determination and support from parents and educators alike, this academic year holds the potential to become one of growth, learning, and cherished memories for every young mind in Karachi and beyond.
