Murder Charges: Police officials sentenced for life

KARACHI: Gambat Court sentenced two police officials with life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs50,000 each, after it was proven that they had committed murder. In 2002, Ghotki’s DSP, Fida Hussain Daher, and Sakrand’s SHO, Habib ur Rehman Lashari, raided Phansal Khan Korai village and opened indiscriminate firing on the village. A youth, Rashid Korai, was killed.
