Predictions: MQM may join hands with PPP: Durrani

Durrani said PPP will initiate the process of removing Dr Zulfiqar Mirza from the basic membership of the party.

KARACHI: The Sindh local government minister, Agha Siraj Durrani, hinted that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement may rejoin hands after Eid. Talking to the media, Durrani said that the disciplinary committee of PPP will initiate the process of removing Dr Zulfiqar Mirza from the basic membership of the party. “President Asif Zardari has directed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take action in this regard,” said Durrani.
