Sharing a picture of an autograph, he said one “special” discovery stood out as the highlight of their newfound friendship. Khoosat revealed that he had stumbled upon a piece of family history –  his paternal grandfather, Sultan Khoosat's autograph, taken by Tarar back in 1953.

“That’s my dada’s (Sultan Khoosat) autograph that Tarar Sahab took in 1953. Dada had some precise and precious advice to give too. I’m assuming he was a bit straightforward too. In case, you can’t read this script and are interested in knowing what it says in Urdu: ‘Always watch quality films!’ And if I were to take some liberty with translation: ‘don’t watch sub-standard s**t!’” he added.

Diving deeper into the family's artistic connections, the Zindagi Tamasha maker unveiled a cherished music piece – Maan Matiye by Tufail Niazi Sahab, a close friend of his grandfather.

“According to Abba, before Dada died, he had written a screenplay for a feature and he would have long jamming sessions with Niazi Sahab who was composing the musical score for it,” he concluded.

Fans and followers of Khoosat were thrilled to witness this rare bond between two creative minds, and many lauded the fact that technology and social media could bridge the gap between generations and create such meaningful connections. Some were even envious of Khoosat’s unique friendship with Tarar.
