10 organisations face charges for illegally blocking roads during Ashura

The authorities have registered cases against 10 organisers for blocking roads for unauthorised processions in various areas on Ashura.

According to the police, Manzar Ali was charged with leading an unauthorised procession at Nadwala Road without seeking official permission.

Ghulam Rasool was booked for organizing a Majlis in a house without permission.

In Jinnah Colony, Sheikh Ilyas and others organised a gathering without prior authorisation, causing road blockades while distributing langar.

Mehndi Raza pitched a tent in the middle of a road without permission, leading to the blockade of the main road during a procession.
