WhatsApp introduces 60-second instant video messages
WhatsApp adds another new feature to the platform by allowing users to send 60-second instant video messages.
With the new feature, users will be able to record and share short videos directly in chat. The new function is similar to recording voice messages. The 60-second instant video messages will be end-to-end encrypted.
In its blog post, WhatsApp has shared the guide to record these messages. To send a video message, tap the voice message icon and switch to video mode. After it switches to video mode, hold to record the video. The icon can be swiped up to lock and record the video hands-free.

Once the video is received, it will play automatically on mute when opened in a chat, and tapping on the video will start the sound.
The feature has started rolling out and will soon be available for users worldwide.
