British-Indian model Neelam Kaur Gill has put an end to the swirling romance rumours that linked her to Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio. Speculations about their relationship began when the duo was spotted together, especially during a recent sighting on a yacht in Sardinia on July 27, according to E! News. 

Taking to her Instagram Story on July 28, the 28-year-old model addressed the rumours head-on, stating, "Just to clear up any rumours... I am not Leonardo DiCaprio's 'new flame.'" Neelam further revealed the truth behind their frequent appearances together, explaining that she is actually in a committed relationship with Leonardo's good friend for several months now, reports E! News.

"In fact, I am in a committed relationship with his good friend, and have been for many months now," the model explained. "The only reason we have been pictured in the same vicinity is because I have been there with my partner. I hope this clears up all the false stories." 

The news about Neelam's existing relationship with Leonardo's friend comes amidst ongoing speculation about the Academy Award-winning actor's love life. Following his split from Camila Morrone in August 2022 after a four-year relationship, Leonardo has been linked to various names, including Gigi Hadid.

Throughout the past year, Leonardo and Gigi have been seen attending events together and appearing in public, fueling romance rumours. Their appearances together during Paris Fashion Week in France, a New York Fashion Week event at Casa Cipriani in NYC, and the Met Gala after-party in NoHo have only intensified the speculation.

A notable encounter occurred in June when Leonardo and Gigi were spotted at the same London eatery, accompanied by Leo's parents, George DiCaprio and Irmelin Indenbirken. Despite the serious implication that a meet-the-parents situation was going down, insiders clarified that the two were attending a group event hosted by Vogue editor Edward Enninful for about 20 people at London's Chiltern Firehouse. The insider revealed that Gigi and Leonardo did not sit together or leave the event together.

According to E! News' source from November 2022, Gigi and Leo were enjoying their time together and trying to keep their relationship low-key and private. "Gigi and Leo are having a lot of fun right now. They have been trying to stay low-key and private, and she has been enjoying the time they have been spending together," the source disclosed.

With Neelam setting the record straight about her relationship status and clarifying her connection to Leonardo, it appears that the actor's love life remains a subject of keen interest and speculation among fans and the media.
