TikToker remanded over May 9 rioting

PTI leader granted pre-arrest bail till July 31 in Jinnah House attack case

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) granted a 9-day of judicial remand to a TikToker allegedly involved in the Jinnah House attack, which took place during the May 9th riots allegedly carried out by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers.

Earlier, police produced TikToker Malik Muneeb Ali Khan with a muffled face before ATC Judge Abher Gul Khan. The hearing was carried out on Thursday.

The investigating officer submitted that the accused was arrested in connection with the Jinnah House attack and moved the court to shift the accused to jail for an identification parade.

The court granted the request and sent the accused to jail on judicial remand until August 5.

Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) granted pre-arrest interim bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shafaqat Amin Sindhu until July 31 in the same case.

The court directed the PTI leader to furnish surety bonds worth Rs100,000 to avail the relief, besides ordering him to join the investigations.
