Uplift schemes for Faisalabad approved

At least 10 schemes postponed for next meeting as PC-1s not presented for discussion

The Divisional Working Party has approved four development schemes for Faisalabad division on Tuesday.

After presiding over the meeting of the working party, Commissioner Silwat Saeed said that 14 development and public welfare schemes came up for discussion during the meeting.

She said that four schemes were approved while 10 schemes were postponed for the next meeting as their PC-1s were not presented for discussion.

She said that Rs100 million would be spent on schemes of Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) under which carpeted roads, PCC streets and water courses would be completed in different city councils in Faisalabad whereas other scheme would be completed in Toba Tek Singh with an estimated cost of Rs100 million by constructing 2.08-kilometer-long Pir Mehal-Sandhilianwali Road.
