Amidst an alarming upswing in street crimes and growing discontent with the performance of Korangi police, exasperated citizens have taken the law into their own hands, resulting in violent confrontations with criminals.

In a latest incident near Jinnah Square, in Malir, two suspected robbers were overpowered by public shortly after committing a robbery. The ensuing confrontation led to the suspects being subjected to brutal vigilante-style retribution.

One of the bandits succumbed to the violence, while the other was arrested by police, nursing severe injuries.

The identities of the deceased and injured robbers remain unknown, as authorities work to ascertain their names. Another gripping tale unfolded on Shahrah-e-Pakistan near Karimabad Jamaat Khana, where citizens confronted and lynched two robbers fresh from a brazen robbery outside the Night View Marriage Hall.

The incensed mob delivered the perpetrators into the hands of the police. One of the bandits succumbed to the violence, while the other was arrested by police, nursing severe injuries.

Police signal three individuals on a motorcycle to halt, only to be met with gunfire from the suspects. In an unfortunate turn of events, one suspect lost his life during the ensuing exchange of gunfire.

The deceased's identity remains shrouded in uncertainty, with authorities preserving his body at the Edhi morgue, awaiting contact from potential family members.
