Vacancies of 120 specialist doctors in Social Security Hospitals to be filled

LAHORE:

Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Dr Jamal Nasir has ordered the recruitment of 120 specialist doctors in Social Security Hospitals, both in order to fill vacancies in hospitals and to provide treatment to the increasing number of patients.

The minister issued these orders on Friday during a meeting called to formulate recommendations to arrange treatment for citizens in social security hospitals.

Dr Nasir further ordered the creation of additional paramedic posts in social security hospitals in view of the forthcoming requirements. He said social security hospitals will continue to provide treatment facilities to industrial workers on a priority basis.
