Shehbaz is the prime culprit of Pakistan's destruction, claims PTI

The spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has asserted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's name will be at the forefront whenever the tale of Pakistan's downfall is chronicled.

In response to Prime Minister Shehbaz's recent meeting and dialogue with the businessmen, the PTI spokesperson criticised him, stating that a person responsible for demolishing the entire economic structure, including the country's economy, business, and trade, has no right to lecture entrepreneurs.

The only accomplishment of an individual devoid of public support, ability, and capacity is the reduction of a thriving six per cent economy to a mere 0.3 percent.

The PTI spokesperson emphasised that when historians recount the story of Pakistan's destruction, the name of this billionaire (Shahbaz), “notorious for money laundering and using fake accounts to dispose of stolen funds, will be at the forefront”.

The spokesperson stated that an illiterate group of criminals, driven by a desire to loot the national treasury, lacks knowledge about the fundamentals of the economy and economics. This group has allowed car manufacturing factories to shut down and witnessed oil trading companies selling their shares, contributing to the downfall, the spokesperson added.

PTI expressed its concern that Shehbaz, who is allegedly responsible for devaluing the rupee, increasing fuel and industrial input costs, and destabilising the balance of imports and exports, cannot deceive the nation while forcing 120,000 educated and skilled Pakistanis to leave the country.

The PTI spokesperson accused Shehbaz of causing “severe damage” to businesses and the economy by instigating political instability across the country, affecting PTI supporters and leaving millions of Pakistanis unemployed.

He added that the time for these criminals and their followers, who resort to falsehoods to salvage their failing politics while jeopardising the nation's future, is running out.

Manufacturers, exporters, small traders, industrialists, cultivators, and wage earners have all suffered under the government's policies, the spokesperson said, adding that the devastation of the past 15 months clearly demonstrates that this approach, supported by corrupt individuals and pirates, cannot persist any longer.

Rather than persisting on grave errors, the state should repent and pave the way for economic recovery and development through a legitimately elected government with the mandate and capability to bring about positive change, PTI added.
