Over 2 million affected by floods in Sindh: NDMA
220,000 houses were destroyed as a result of flooding in the province.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) says that more than two million people have been affected by floods in seven districts of Sindh, including Badin.
According to an NDMA report, more than 800 villages in seven districts of Sindh were inundated as a result of the floods.
More than one million people belonging to 3,700 villages of Badin district were affected by the floods that destroyed 189,000 houses.
In Tando Allah Yar, floods inundated more than 700 villages and affected 160,000 people, says the report.
The report says 220,000 houses were destroyed as a result of flooding in the province. The flash floods have also resulted in massive loss of livestock, killing around 64,000 animals.
The authority says 406 relief camps were set up in different locations to help deal with around 95,000 displaced people.
National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza had earlier said 90% of Badin district had been flooded and that the provincial and federal governments were doing all they could to help flood victims living in the camps.
