Itinerary for Sri Lanka series confirmed

Pakistan to play 3 Tests, 5 ODIS, 1 T20 in UAE.

KARACHI:

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are set to face off against each other in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for three Tests, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and a Twenty20 match from October 18 to November 26.

The series will also see the revival of Test cricket at Sharjah after 11 years, while Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be the other venues. Pakistan was forced to play its home series in the UAE after the Lankans refused to tour the country because of security concerns.

“We had a choice of neutral venues and we opted for UAE because it allows us to manage things smoothly,” said the PCB Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad.
