Humaima Malick calls Aliza Sultan her sister amidst birthday wishes for Feroze Khan

'The Legend of Maula Jatt' star made her love for both sides known

In a surprising turn of events, Pakistani actor Humaima Malick has recently made claims about her connection to fellow actor Feroze Khan's former wife, Aliza Sultan. Humaima asserted that she was not Aliza's sister-in-law but rather her close friend, emphasising that the latter is like a sister to her.

The Raja Natwarlal actor's response came in light of a critical comment made by an Instagram user, who compared the star to their own sisters-in-law, stating that women who have experienced failed marriages tend to rely on their brothers and invade their personal space. "My sisters-in-law are just the same as her. They don't give space. Only women living a failed married life, be it the mother or sisters, tend to rely on their brothers," stated the comment.

In a firm reply, Humaima addressed the comment. The actor replied, "I was not her sister-in-law; I was her friend, and she is my sister. She is the mother of my brother's children. So please don't compare us with your sister-in-law and yourself, loser."

Amid all of this, however, Humaima also expressed her affection for Feroze by posting a heartfelt birthday message dedicated to him on Instagram. The post acknowledged the challenges they have faced together and highlighted Feroze as a "winner" and a significant blessing in her life. Humaima praised Feroze's endurance and composed nature, attributing his success to patience and divine support. She expressed gratitude for their strong bond, wishing that every sister could have a brother like him.

"Every passing year taught us something and the last year just built us really up," penned Humaima in her birthday wish for her brother. "Feroze, my brother, you are the biggest gift and blessing Allah has given us. Last year was the toughest one yet but your endurance, your calm nature made you the winner, because Allah is with those who have patience."

She continued to state, "It's your birthday, but I got the gift. You came into this world and I was given a friend, a supporter, a backbone, and a confidant, I wish every sister has a brother like you so they can understand the real meaning of a brother and feel honoured to abide by his guidelines. Just like I do. You are a winner because even in your absence you are the most talked about person and that is the power of patience and composure."

She further wrote, "The love around you is only going to increase and to all the cynics that are out there ganging up. Hit us hard, hit us good, avoid us, ignore us. Belittle us, we are not going anywhere because we are family. And we stood by each other through every storm, through every turmoil, holding hands, stronger than ever before. Happy birthday Feroze Khan. May you have the best years ahead of you. Ameen."

All this comes after Aliza's accusation of alleged domestic violence against Feroze. Supporting her claims, the victim submitted evidence to the District and Sessions Courts in Karachi East, which included images of bruises allegedly inflicted by Feroze on July 7, 2020, and May 10, 2021. Aliza's family took her for a medico-legal examination at the Postgraduate Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), and the medical reports were also submitted to the court. The reports confirmed the presence of bruises on her arms and waist, consistent with her claims of being subjected to physical abuse.

Aliza also made a public announcement on her Instagram account on September 1, 2022, revealing her decision to separate from her ex-husband. In her statement, she described their four-year marriage as chaotic and disclosed experiencing "continuous physical and psychological violence, infidelity, blackmail, and degradation". Aliza expressed her desire to protect her children from growing up in a "toxic household." Feroze and Aliza tied the knot in March 2018 and share two children, a boy and a girl.
