Minister assures lawyer welfare
The caretaker provincial government is fully cognizant of the challenges faced by lawyers and is committed to taking substantial measures to address them.
This assurance was conveyed by Barrister Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Caretaker Provincial Minister for Information and Public Relations, during a luncheon meeting with lawyers at the conclusion of the All Pakistan Lawyers Convention held at the Peshawar High Court the other day.
Commending the successful organization of the convention, the caretaker provincial minister emphasized the pivotal role played by lawyers in society. Recognizing the sacred nature of the legal profession, he acknowledged that lawyers advocate for the rights of marginalized sections of society and fight legal battles on their behalf.
As a gesture of appreciation, the caretaker information minister hosted a lunch for all the participants of the conference on behalf of the provincial government. Notably, the convention witnessed the passage of various resolutions aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of the judicial system and promoting the welfare of lawyers.
