Google Calendar has expanded its existing 'working locations' feature to let users specify where they are working from for a specific time throughout the day.

Previously, in 2021, Google Calendar had the option that allowed users to set their working location for certain days of the week. With the latest update, users can show their location throughout the day for accurate availability.

The feature is useful for hybrid or remote work settings as it will make it easier for co-workers to figure out an in-person collaboration or a video conference.

The feature has already started rolling out for the users.

Users can opt for this feature by selecting the “Working Location” option as an event type in the calendar and then choosing a location. From there, the date, time or reoccurrence can be modified by clicking on the time element.
