Balochistan to set up unit for climate research

This research institute aims to conduct vital research to safeguard the environment

QUETTA:

The provincial government of Balochistan has taken a significant step towards environmental conservation by announcing the establishment of the Balochistan Comprehensive Environment and Climate Change Research Institute.

This research institute aims to conduct vital research to safeguard the environment and address climate change challenges in the region.

An official from the Balochistan government highlighted the institute’s objectives, stating that it will focus on identifying and containing toxic contaminants that are adversely affecting the quality of water, soil, and air in the province.
