PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Caretaker Minister for Information, Hajj, and Auqaf, Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel, has announced plans to restore and enhance the beauty of parks in cities across the province, aiming to provide additional entertainment facilities for the residents who have been deprived of such amenities.

Speaking as the chief guest at the special Eid show “De Akhtar Mulghalre” on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, held at the studio of Pakhtunkhwa Radio Peshawar FM 92.2, Kakakhel emphasized the importance of character building among students and reducing the weight of their school bags.

Kakakhel expressed admiration for the innovative approach and public acceptance of Pakhtunkhwa Radio, highlighting the crucial role that media, as a whole, can play in inspiring hope within society and alleviating growing anxieties and despair.

He emphasized that Eid is not only a festive occasion for children but also for adults.

The minister underscored the significance of assisting neighbors, relatives, and the less fortunate during Eid-ul-Azha, stating that the main essence of the festival lies in helping others and seeking the pleasure of God.

He also urged people to visit the families of martyrs and inquire about the well-being of sick friends.

In response to a question, Kakakhel stated that his government is committed to restoring joy and optimism among the people, overcoming the shock and frustration caused by the tragic events of May 9 earlier this year.

Provincial Information Secretary Mukhtiar Ahmad, in his Eid message, emphasized the importance of parents and teachers sharing the joys of students, children, and youth. He called for efforts to prevent loneliness and actively engage them in practical experiences, thereby fostering the development of their creative capabilities.
