Google Pixel 8 series to have bigger battery, faster charging
The upcoming Google Pixel 8 series has created quite the buzz with its new features, including Tensor G3 Processor, a better camera system, and support for USB DisplayPort alternate mode.
Recently, a source inside Google has leaked another vital feature that will be available in the upcoming series, better and bigger batteries for faster charging. Pixel phones had been lagging behind in terms of faster charging and better battery in comparison to smartphone brands like Samsung, but not anymore.

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will see a slight upgrade of 3W in charging power, with support for 24W and 27W charging. Google's wireless charging for its Pixel phones remains unchanged.
Google’s Pixel 8 gets a larger 4,485mAh cell instead of the old 4,270mAh, and Pixel 8 Pro gets 4,950mAh from 4,926mAh on the Pixel 7 Pro. The company is also upgrading its chip to BCM4398 which will support Wi-Fi-7. Building on Wi-Fi 6 and 6E which will have improved speeds, latency and reliability.
