Boy dies in rope mishap

Inspector reveals Yaseen and his peers in the neighborhood were playing a game involving animal ropes

In a heart-wrenching incident, a teenager lost his life after a rope became entangled around his neck while he was engaged in playful activities near Kati Pahari in Qasba Colony of Orangi Town.

The 12-year-old boy, identified as Yaseen, son of Mohammad Arif, was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, but despite all efforts of medics, his life slipped away, as the constricting rope impeded his ability to breathe.

Inspector Yousuf of Pirabad police station revealed that Yaseen and his peers in the neighborhood were playing a game involving animal ropes.

Tragically, the rope wrapped around Yaseen's neck, resulting in an unimaginable tragedy. In a solemn turn of events, the grieving family of the young boy opted not to pursue legal action, deeming the incident an unforeseen accident. Meanwhile, another heart-rending incident unfolded when a rickshaw, carrying a woman, her husband, and their 4-year-old son, was rammed by a speeding truck in the vicinity of Northern Bypass near Toll Plaza.

The injured trio was swiftly transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the woman, identified as 23-year-old Hamsheera, succumbed to her injuries, while her husband, Kamal, 25, and their young son Sameer, 4, were admitted for the treatment of their wounds.
