PESHAWAR:

During the return journey from a rally in Khawaja Khela, an accident took place involving the convoy of Adviser to the Prime Minister, Engineer Amir Maqam.

Fortunately, Maqam remained unharmed, but several officials were injured when a police van in the convoy lost control and collided with Maqam's car, causing it to overturn.

According to Express News, the police van in the convoy veered out of control, resulting in the collision and subsequent overturning of the vehicle. While Maqam emerged from the accident unscathed, the personnel inside the police van suffered injuries.

Upon exiting his vehicle, the adviser to the prime minister personally assisted in righting the overturned police van and inquired about the well-being of the officials involved.

Although no lives were lost in the accident, three officials sustained injuries and were promptly transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, the injured officials are in stable condition and their lives are not in danger.

It is worth mentioning that just a day prior, an assassination attempt on Maqam’s life had been thwarted. Now, another incident has occurred within the convoy, adding to the recent events surrounding Maqam's security.
