A bomb planted at the gate of the agency headquarters hospital Landi Kotal went off causing damage to some medical stores, an eyewitness said. However, there were no casualties reported.
The blast however spread a wave of terror among patients and doctors. The families of many patients admitted to the hospital were anxious about staying at the hospital and feared for their lives.
Security forces meanwhile disposed off another bomb placed near the parking area of Zakha Khel bazaar in Landi Kotal on Monday after the administration was tipped off about explosives placed near Mule Street.
