Terrorist Sarbakaf Mohmand dies under mysterious circumstances
In a development signaling internal strife among terrorist outfits, Sarbakaf Mohmand, a known member of Jamatul Ahrar and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has died under mysterious circumstances.
Sources indicate that the intensifying rift between the groups played a role in Sarbakaf's demise, with social media speculation suggesting that he may have been poisoned by unidentified individuals.
Sarbakaf Mohmand, apart from his involvement in various terrorist activities, had been using social media platforms to propagate anti-Pakistan sentiments through the Ghazi Media Network handle. He was considered a symbol of falsehood and terrorism, and his presence was met with disdain by peace-loving individuals in the region.
The deceased terrorist was notorious for orchestrating the attack on the Peshawar Police Lines mosque, as well as being involved in numerous other acts of terrorism. Reports also indicate that he had engaged in extortion and immoral conduct, causing rifts within his own ranks.

Another source of discord between Sarbakaf and his associates was his previous association with Jamatul Ahrar, although the group later merged into Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Despite the merger, differences persisted, particularly over disputes regarding the distribution of areas for the abduction and exploitation of children.
In recent times, Sarbakaf openly supported attacks by activists of a political party on military installations, aligning himself with the TTP's agenda.
He had proclaimed himself as an alternate to Noorwali Mehsud, a significant figure within the terrorist organisation. According to reports, Sarbakaf was allegedly poisoned by Mufti Noorwali Mehsud, the same individual who reportedly assassinated Jamatul Ahrar commander Abdul Wali.
The recent increase in the elimination of terrorists can be attributed to the successful operations of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in conjunction with timely intelligence and public support. This success has triggered internal divisions within terrorist circles. LEAs firmly believe that with continued public support and efficient intelligence reports, the fight against terrorism will yield positive results.
