WB, Sharjeel discuss progress on Yellow Line BRT project

The World Bank delegation held meetings in Karachi, where they met Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon. The initial meeting took place at the Archives Complex, and later, the delegation attended a review meeting chaired by the minister Sharjeel Inam Memon to discuss the progress of the Yellow Line BRT project.

Speaking at the review meeting, Sharjeel expressed his commitment to accelerating the completion of public transport-related projects. He highlighted the importance of timely execution to ensure efficient service delivery to the public. The meeting held discussions about the challenges faced by the Yellow Line BRT project and explored potential solutions to overcome those obstacles.

Furthermore, the minister conveyed his intention to launch BRT projects throughout the province, with the aim of providing improved, cost-effective, and comfortable travel facilities for the residents.
