End to atrocities against Indian minorities urged
Pakistan has told the UN General Assembly that India, whose prime minister is visiting the US later this month, is targeting Indian Muslims, Christians, same as the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
In a speech during the debate on ‘Culture of Peace’, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Munir Akram called for the end to the harsh suppression of Indian minorities.
“To those who are ready today to open their doors to the Prime Minister of India, we urge that they call for a halt to India’s oppression and atrocities,” Ambassador Munir Akram said. APP
