‘Overseas Pakistanis lending helping hand’

A delegation of Overseas Pakistanis, led by former MPA Rana Liaquat Ali, called on Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman at Governor House on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed the problems faced by Overseas Pakistanis. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor stated that overseas Pakistanis are a source of pride for the country and play an important role in the country’s economy by sending remittances.

He further mentioned that Overseas Pakistanis always lend a helping hand to their fellow countrymen in difficult times.

The governor also highlighted that despite challenging economic conditions, the government has announced incentives for Overseas Pakistanis in the recent budget.
