RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi District Education Authority has issued a stern warning to the management of all private schools operating during the ongoing summer vacations to close the institutes immediately.

The authority’s Chief Executive Officer Yasin Baloch has ordered that summer coaching and camps must be terminated at the earliest.

He said any private schools found open or engaging students under the pretext of summer camps will face severe consequences. Such schools will be sealed, their registrations will be canceled, and heavy fines would be imposed upon them.

Furthermore, he urged parents, students, and citizens to promptly inform the Education Department if they come across any private schools operating in their respective areas.

Special teams have been formed to address this issue, and officers are conducting surprise raids across all tehsils of Rawalpindi district.
