Jinnah House ‘miscreant’ pins blame on PTI chief
Raees Ahmed, the individual “responsible” for the attack on Jinnah House in Lahore, has provided some revealing information in his confession.
According to his statement, he arrived at the Corps Commander House in Lahore's Cantonment area under the guidance of Dr Yasmin Rashid, following the arrest of the PTI chief on May 9.
Ahmed admitted to vandalising the house, breaking pots, and starting a fire with other PTI workers.
He claimed that his actions were influenced by the continuous speeches made by the former prime minister against the army over the past year. These speeches led him to develop negative sentiments towards the army, which ultimately motivated him to carry out the attack, he claimed.
Ahmed hails from the Shangla district of Swat. He is currently in custody, facing charges of vandalism and mischief, as per the law.
