RAWALPINDI:

Punjab’s interim Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Friday that the provincial government’s budget would be for the next four months. It would also include funds for the development of the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project.

He said this while laying the foundation stone of the Potohar Enclosure and guest rooms at the Rawalpindi Gymkhana. He added that similar facilities would be introduced in clubs across Punjab.

On the budgetary front, he said that work would start soon on the flyover at Kacheri Chowk. The budget would also include funds for the Rawalpindi Safe City Project.

Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha said that the turnaround time for the construction of Potohar enclosure would be short. He added that dining rooms, a coffee shop, a cinema, a table tennis arena, and a children’s play area will be constructed at the gymkhana.
