Lawyers’ team lauds Shujaat’s services for democracy

In view of the current unprecedented political situation, PML-Q leader and former premier Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has stressed that the only solution to the country’s problem lies in holding negotiations.

According to Express News, a delegation of lawyers led by former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) vice president Rana Naeem Sarwar called on the former premier.

The delegation included former chief justice of Pakistan Sheikh Riaz Ahmad and ex-SCBA general secretary Asad Manzoor Butt.
The lawyers’ team lauded Shujaat’s services for democracy.

The PML-Q leader emphasised that the only solution to the country’s problems lay in holding talks.
Shujaat maintained that he and PML-Q Chief Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar were trying to play their role for political stability in the country.
PML-Q Punjab General Secretary Chaudhry Shafay Hussain also attended the meeting.

In the past also, Shujaat had urged the government to start a national dialogue and asked it to approach the disgruntled national leaders and woo them back.
He said the solution to the problems lay with the politicians, advising all the forces to come together and think of Pakistan.
