LAHORE:

Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Secretary Ali Jan Khan has announced the implementation of a modern comfort, care, service (CCS) model in the district and Tehsil headquarters hospitals across the province.

According to an official statement, the CCS model encompasses various aspects to improve the overall hospital experience. Under the comfort element, provisions for cleanliness, drinking water, fans and benches have been prioritised, alongside security and janitorial services. The care component focuses on testing facilities, the functionality of biomedical equipment and the enforcement of a biometric attendance system, while the service model ensures the availability of emergency care, surgical procedures, delivery services, access to medicines and dialysis facilities.

Addressing the 11th THQ Hospitals Medical Superintendents Conference, the provincial secretary urged the participants to conduct daily visits to hospitals, addressing any complaints and uploading their findings on the department’s portal.
