KARACHI, PAKISTAN:

An alarming robbery unfolded in a house in North Nazimabad, where the perpetrators rendered the occupants unconscious during their sleep with a spray and easily fled after stealing around Rs1.5 million worth of gold jewellery, Rs50,000 cash, and two mobile phones that were kept in the cupboards.

The family discovered the incident upon waking up in the morning, finding their belongings scattered within and outside the wardrobe.

One of the family members, Ateeq, told police that the robbery occurred between Wednesday and Thursday night, in the house, where he resides with his three brothers.

Reportedly, the unidentified suspects stole the valuables from two rooms of the house, using a spray to render the family members unconscious. He told police that the robbers escaped from the rear gate of the house as it was found open next morning.

The police were promptly informed about the incident but the investigation is yet to be started.

The family has appealed to the police authorities to register a robbery case and apprehend the robbers after a detailed investigation into the matter.
