ISLAMABAD:

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), fired a broadside against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, accusing him of working on a foreign agenda.

Fazl, who also heads the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), told a press conference in the federal capital that Imran was launched in the Pakistani politics under an external agenda.

“Imran Khan was brought in to fulfil the international agenda,” he said. “It has become clear on which agenda Imran Khan is working and whose agent he is,” the PDM president said.

Fazl also questioned as to why the courts were giving protection to Imran Khan.

“Why his terrorists are being facilitated by the court? Because of that, the noble image of the judiciary has been tarnished,” the JUI-F chief said.
