KARACHI:

Strong sea winds blew 41 kilometres per hour throughout Tuesday in Karachi, resulting in moderate weather conditions. The maximum temperature reached 35.1 degrees Celsius. In rural Sindh, Shaheed Benazirabad experienced the highest temperature of 43.5 degrees Celsius on the same day.

The Early Warning Centre of the Meteorological Department predicted that the city will continue to experience hot and humid weather for the next three days, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius. While humidity may rise to 80 per cent, sea breezes are not expected to cease, although their speed may decrease. Most parts of the province are likely to have hot and dry conditions.

Various districts in rural Sindh, including Shaheed Benazirabad, remained in the grip of intense heat on Tuesday, mercury reaching 35.1 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department also states that this month's weather can fluctuate between balanced conditions and hot, humid periods. The pre-monsoon season is expected to begin from June 1 to mid-June, followed by the monsoon season starting from July 1.

It is important to note that the Meteorological Department has predicted low monsoon rainfall for Sindh, including Karachi, this year.
