Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’s latest episode had fans weeping with actors Wahaj Ali and Rabya Kulsoom’s characters Saad and Neelo losing a parent in the drama. With a loss so heavy, it can be hard to portray the feelings onscreen but Wahaj and Rabya nailed the job – as per their army of fans. Social media users are even demanding to have Rabya cast in a lead role soon!

Twitterati shared clips and pictures from Monday’s episode and praised the control of emotions the two had. “Rabya Kulsoom was the shining star of this episode. The girl has so much potential. Hope to see her in a lead role in the near future,” wrote a user. They further added how Wahaj was exceptional too. “When Wahaj Ali came and started crying in his chachu's lap, his pain was heartbreaking and his car weeping scene, damn.”

Another lauded Rabya for her delivery. “She ate and left no crumbs. The way she was crying and her voice modulation made my heart so emotional. I want to see her in lead roles. She is such a good actor,” read the tweet.

Sharing a clip of Saad, Wahaj’s character, crying in a car after containing his emotions throughout the funeral, a user praised how they engrossed the actor was in his character arc. “They say an actor goes to a dark place in order to produce the emotional scenes. Today's performance by Wahaj made me think of not just Saad, the character but Wahaj, the actor. Outstanding performance. This scene gave me goosebumps.”

A lot of users felt that while playing the scene, Wahaj expressed all that he kept inside after his father’s death. “Wahaj in emotional scenes is just love. This scene definitely reminded him of his father's loss. Wahaj as an actor makes you cry in emotional scenes and laugh in comic scenes.” wrote a user. Another wrote, “I can see that he’s thinking of his own dad and is in another dimension. It made me emotional. It’s the most real emotion displayed.”

Another user shared how Wahaj will rule the local showbiz industry. “Wahaj Ali in emotional scenes will stir our heart chords and make us cry along with him. No overdoing, no shouting. Wahaj Ali is here to rule the Pakistan entertainment industry. Applause to your phenomenal performance,” read the tweet.

This tweep couldn’t believe that an egoistic Murtasim in Tere Bin can display such palpable pain onscreen. “I can't believe he's the same person who plays Murtasim in Tere Bin. This show is too depressing for me to watch, but Wahaj Ali the actor that you are. Take a bow!”

Fans are also in love with the sibling chemistry that Neelo and Saad have in the show. “I so want to see Wahaj and Rabya as siblings in more projects too after MPHT. I don't think I've ever seen such natural sibling energy and chemistry between two actors before. Wahaj and Rabya absolutely owned Saad and Neelo.”

However, a user had some notes (read: constructive criticism) for director Badar Mehmood. “Wahaj Ali is absolutely brilliant but what a disservice to have ‘teri chaahat mein deewana hoa’ or this colour grading when he is portraying the emotional breakdown of his character upon the death of the father. Hello, director?!” read the tweet.
