KARACHI:

The Inspector General of Police (IG) in Sindh conducted an aerial survey of different city areas, including Tower, Sohrab Goth, Sharea Faisal, Dalmia and Millennium on Rashid Minhas Road to check the peace and order situation and security deployment.

Accompanied by the Additional IG Special Branch, the IG said that protecting the people's lives, property, and vital installations are the top priority of the police. Deploying reserve and anti-riot forces should be done while strengthening security measures under random snap checking and picketing. He said, scholars, Imams and dignitaries can play important role to maintain peace.

The citizens should be made aware of the importance of peace for the development and prosperity of society, while general public should take as responsibility to identify the miscreants.
