How to achieve the no makeup, makeup look this season

May 17, 2023

Isn’t it exhilarating to know that a stylish and chic appearance can be achieved with minimal makeup? Oftentimes, it becomes quite the task to get ready to head out and hit the town. Here are five recommendations that will enable you to attain a chic look with minimal makeup. Try these tips for a minimalistic makeup look.

Priming base colour

A good primer is a convenient way to smooth your base. It is important to blend the primer well to perfectly smooth your skin color. This will keep your base in contact with your skin, and it will not come off easily. Your skin will look fresh, and your base will not clog your pores, even if you apply a thick foundation on top of it.

Make your skin a top priority

With minimal makeup, you need to focus on your skin first. Instead of trying to hide flaws in your skin with heavy makeup, indulge in some skin prep. Apply a hydrating face mask to make your skin moisturized and supple, giving you a natural look.

Use creams

Creams are essential in minimal makeup. After applying your primer and base, use cream bronzers to lock in your glowing goodness, which can be finished with a settling spray. You can also use creamy eye shadows to make your eyes feel light, but make sure to blend everything to the right amount.

Try liquid or buffing foundations for coverage

Using liquid or buffing foundations in your makeup will never let you down. It is our favorite tip as it makes your skin resistant to the cakey look. You can also use CC, BB, or tinted moisturizers that provide extra hydration. You will absolutely shine in this look!

Add dew

Experiment with dewiness on your cheekbones to achieve a glow. Choose a cream mixed with a clear base instead of opting for an outdated shimmered highlighter. It looks like sweat, so make sure you blend the dew well to get the required texture!
