Doctors advise Imran to take rest after leg pain
Doctors at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to take complete rest to avoid further complications with his injured leg, party sources said on Wednesday.
Imran underwent medical examination by the hospital board following complaints of swelling and pain in his injured leg. The sources said that the board advised the PTI chief to take rest, as the swelling posed risk of infection and could lead to surgery again.

The PTI chairman received bullet wound to his leg during firing at his long march rally in November 2022 in Wazirabad. He was immediately taken to the Shaukat Khanum Hospital where he received treatment.
The sources said that the former prime minister complained of pain and swelling after his appearance at the Lahore High Court (LHC). They added that the doctors advised Imran to avoid any unnecessary movement and use a wheelchair for non-routine movement.
