Three arrested over child abuse

Accused allegedly raped an 8-year-old boy

Separate cases have been filed against a police constable, a cleric, and a veterinary doctor for allegedly being involved in child abuse.

In the first incident, a case was registered against seven people, including Qari Huzaifa, a teacher of a religious seminary in Basti Himayat Abad.

The accused allegedly raped an 8-year-old boy named Usman.

The police have arrested Huzaifa and started an investigation.

In another incident, a case was registered against Police Constable Umar Sargana, who is posted in the same police station.

It was alleged that Umar Sargana and three others shot and injured 12-year-old Muhammad Ali when he resisted their attempt to rape him.

It is worth noting that Umar Sargana was already booked for raping a woman during a robbery and stealing jewelry, and he was reinstated a few days ago.

Similarly, in the third incident, a veterinary doctor named Dr Tayyab Iqbal allegedly raped Irfan Ali in the jurisdiction of Mianchanno police station.

The City Channo police arrested Dr. Tayyab and registered a case against him under section 376 of the Penal Code.

Police are currently investigating all three cases.
