Altaf Shakoor, the Chairman of the Pasban Democratic Party, has expressed concerns over the increase in prices of medicines and their impact on low-income people.

He has accused the pharmaceutical industry of exploiting patients and called for immediate action to control the situation.

Shakoor has demanded a reduction in the prices of essential medicines, improvement in government hospitals, and the establishment of teaching hospitals at the district level. He has also called for free emergency rooms across the country.

Shakoor has criticised the government for protecting the interests of the pharma mafia and neglecting the needs of the citizens.
