No mpox in Khanewal: official

The health department has confirmed that no case monkeypox (mpox) was reported in district Khanewal. Health CEO Dr Kazim Khan added fake news about an outbreak was circulating on social media. While holding a press conference on Saturday, CEO Health announced that there is not a single case of mpox and urged citizens to not focus on rumours and follow precautionary measures.

He also informed that separate isolation wards had been allocated for the mpox.
