Urges Karachiites to join protests against wrong census results

KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Arsalan Taj has announced protests to be held in different areas across the city on April 29, 2023.

In a statement released on Thursday, Taj said that the party will have a series of protests against the alleged wrong census results in Karachi.

He said that the District East will witness the protest at Hasan Square, Gulzare Hijri, Al Asif, Mahmoodabad, and Perfume Chowk. Meanwhile, District Central will host the protesters at Ayesha Manzil, Power House, Five Star, Goli Mar, and Liaquatabad.

"In Korangi, protesters will gather at the AC office, Korangi Crossing, Kala Board, and Shama Centre. The protestors will also demonstrate at Memon Goth Press Club, and Malir".

Moreover, In South District the protest will be held at MA Jinnah Road, Agra Taj, Empress Market, and Teen Talwar.

Taj has urged the people of Karachi to join the PTI protests, stating that the people of Karachi must come out of their homes against the wrong population count in Karachi.

The statement also announced to have a grand protest to be held on May 1st in Haidery.

He urged all the citizens to participate in the protests against the alleged miscounting.
