You're a father, Harry: Fans feel 'old' after Daniel Radcliffe becomes a father

Actor Daniel Radcliffe and his partner Erin Darke have welcomed their first child. The news was confirmed by the Harry Potter star's publicist after pictures of the couple pushing a pram in New York City circulated online. The couple, who have been together for a decade, have not disclosed the gender of their baby, or when the child was born.

The paparazzi photos show Daniel wearing a blue cap, black facemask, grey T-shirt, dark grey hoodie, and grey trousers, while Erin wore a black T-shirt, blue jeans, a green coat, and tan boots. They took turns pushing their baby's blue and black pram.

Fans quickly congratulated the couple on social media. One Twitter user expressed excitement, writing, "So happy for them! My feeling says they have a boy."

Daniel and Erin met on the set of Kill Your Darlings in 2013, in which he played the poet Allen Ginsberg. In March 2023, it was reported that the couple was expecting a child. Last year, Daniel spoke to Newsweek about his desire for his children to aspire to work behind the scenes in the film industry. He said, "I want my kids, if and when they exist...I would love them to be around film sets... A dream would be for them to come on to a film set and be like 'God, you know, I'd love to be in the art department. I'd love to be something in the crew.'"

Daniel Radcliffe rose to fame as the lead in the Harry Potter film series, which began with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 2001. He has since appeared in a variety of films and TV shows, including the BAFTA-winning biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Erin Darke is known for her role in the TV series Good Girls Revolt and had a recurring role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
