SC forms benches for post-Eid hearings

A three-member special bench will hear petitions for holding general elections all over the country at the same time

ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court has formed benches for hearings after the Eid holidays. One special and five regular benches will hear cases from April 26 to 28.

.A three-member special bench will hear the petitions for holding general elections all over the country at the same time

The special bench, headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, comprises Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Munib Akhtar.

Bench one consists of the chief justice, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Justice Athar Minallah.

Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Shahid Waheed are included in Bench two.

In bench three, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Amiruddin Khan will hear the cases.

Bench four comprises Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Ayesha Malik while bench five has Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Sayyed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi.
