‘Counterfeit’ soft drink unit raided

The Food Safety Team raided a factory that had allegedly been manufacturing counterfeit soft drinks.

The factory was located in the Dhanai Khel area of Kamar Mashani.

The team found empty and filled bottles of all famous soft drink brands, fake raw materials, a filling and mixing machine, carbon dioxide cylinders, a gas cylinder, drums and water tanks in the premises of the factory.

The Punjab Food Authority foiled the malicious conspiracy of elements hostile to health by taking timely action.

The counterfeit material was seized, and samples were sent to the lab.
