Police officials issued notices in abducted girl’s case

The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notices to the Inspector General of Sindh Police, Additional IG, SSP Investigation Central, and SHO Gulberg police station in connection with an application related to the recovery of Shabana, who was allegedly abducted eight years ago. The application was heard by a bench headed by Justice Nimatullah Phulpoto.
The petitioner’s counsel, Advocate Liaquat Gabol, submitted before the court that Shabana was abducted eight years ago from Federal B Area.
The petition said that Mureed Hussain had filed a case of abduction of his daughter in Gulberg police station. However, the police had termed the case as A-Class without recovering the kidnapped girl. The old father pleaded that his daughter should be recovered.
On this, the court has issued notices to the Inspector General of Sindh Police, Additional IG, SSP Investigation Central, and SHO Gulberg police station to respond to the application.
