The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an intelligence-based operation in Gulshan-e-Hadeed and arrested an alleged terrorist belonging to a banned organisation Sindh Republican Army (SRA) and recovered weapons from his possession.
CTD using modern technology and intelligence sources and conducted operation in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. As a result, an alleged terrorist identified as Obaidullah of the banned terrorist organisation SRA was apprehended and 30 pistols were recovered from his possession.
The accused disclosed in the initial investigation that he had committed attack on Ejaz Ahmed, the owner of Gujjar Dairy located in Gulshan-e- Hadeed Phase 2 on April 11 at the behest of his commanders Inam Abbasi and Mashooq Qambrani. In which the owner of Gujjar Dairy was seriously injured.
The incident has been registered in the Steel Town police station.
