LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Monday slammed Finance Minister Ishaq for increasing petroleum price when oil is getting cheaper in the global market.

He said this in a meeting with former MNA Rana Muhammad Nazir, former MPA Sonia Shah, Ali Shah, and others.

“I had already said that Ishaq Dar is an incompetent finance minister. The increase in the price of petrol by 10 rupees per liter is brutal. Ishaq Dar laid down in front of IMF (International Monetary Fund) but still they are not ready to trust him,” he remarked, adding that if Dar does not understand anything then he should learn from PTI’s finance czar Shaukat Tarin.

He said that the “bunch of incompetents” are imposed on the country, who has taken away the right to live from the people. The “tyrants” in the centre and in the province have made it difficult for the people to get two meals a day, he added.

The PTI leader said that “incompetent” rulers are sucking the blood of the people to get the blessing of the IMF. He said that inept rulers have no right to legislate, they are conspiring against the Supreme Court (SC) and calling cabinet meetings one after another.

Elahi said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s threat to come out on the streets against the judiciary is regrettable. He should avoid such irresponsible and provocative talk against judiciary and should know that the nation stands with the decisions of judiciary with full force, he added.

The central president said that all domestic and foreign survey reports are predicting the success of their party in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is running our election campaign in Punjab and K-P for free by trying to stop the election, he added.
